R&D Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experience R&D manager to lead our technical teams in developing innovative space and defence products, ensure compliance with requirements, and driving business through improved customer satisfaction, productivity, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the R&D department, developing and implementing effective technical strategies. Lead & Innovate: Shape the future of aerospace by developing and executing a bold R&D strategy that aligns with the company's vision.
• Dynamic and results-driven Head of R&D to lead our cutting-edge research and development initiatives in the aerospace, defence industry.
• As the head of a high-performance team, you'll drive technological breakthroughs that shape the future of aviation, defence, and aerospace systems. Provide technical direction for product development, technical support, and certification.
• Drive product management initiatives to achieve greater customer satisfaction, increased productivity, better product quality, and lower manufacturing costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation, and calculated risk-taking.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams - engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of R&D outputs into final products.

Qualifications & Experience:-

• Bachelors/Master degree in ECE Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. Electrical Engineering, or related field, A PhD is a plus.
• 12+ years in the aerospace defence industry, with at least 7 years in leadership rotes driving R&D initiatives R&D, product development, or engineering management.
• Proven track record of technical teams and managing complex projects. Expertise with RF/Microwave product development in Aerospace and defence Industries.
• Experience with certification processes and design data management.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• International experience or exposure to global markets.

Critical Certifications:

• AS9100: Certification in Quality Management Systems for the Aerospace Industry.
• ISO 9001: Certified in Quality Management Systems, especially for organizations in the aerospace sector.
• Six Sigma or Lean Certification (Green Belt/Black Belt): Preferred for process improvement and efficiency in R&D projects.
