Responsibilities :

- Design, analyze, and code mainframe applications using PL/I (CICS), C, CICS, and DB2 with stored procedures and SQL.

- Develop and maintain robust and scalable mainframe solutions to meet business requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Implement Service Management, Change, and Release Management processes to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of mainframe applications.

Utilize quality management techniques to ensure the reliability and performance of mainframe systems.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.

- Work collaboratively within multi-location teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables.

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in mainframe development and IT service management.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5-9 years of experience in mainframe development, including design, analysis, and coding using PL/I (CICS), C, CICS, and DB2.

- Strong technical background and expertise in mainframe programming.

- Proficiency in Service Management, Change, and Release Management processes.

- Experience with quality management techniques and methodologies.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multi-location teams.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Certification in mainframe technologies or IT service management is a plus.
