Description :About the Role : We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer (.NET) to join our engineering leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will architect, design, and deliver complex .NET applications that power our core products and services. You will act as a technical leader, mentor, and collaborator, driving engineering excellence and innovation across multiple projects.If you have a passion for scalable, high-performance software solutions and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.Key Responsibilities :- Lead the design and development of enterprise-level applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies.- Establish best practices and coding standards, ensuring high-quality and maintainable codebases.- Drive architectural decisions to optimize performance, scalability, security, and reliability- Provide technical mentorship to engineers across multiple teams, fostering growth and improving engineering practices.- Collaborate closely with Product Management, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.- Lead code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.- Design and implement robust backend services, APIs, and integrations with third-party systems.- Identify technical risks and provide proactive mitigation strategies.- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovations to enhance product capabilities.- Drive complex projects from conception through delivery, balancing speed and quality.- Coordinate cross-team efforts to resolve technical challenges and ensure alignment with business goals.Requirements :Experience :- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead engineering role.- Deep expertise in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, Entity Framework, and C#.- Proven track record of building scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications or backend services.Technical Skills :- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and message queuing systems.- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.Soft Skills :- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead technical discussions.- Ability to mentor and inspire engineering teams.Education :- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.- Equivalent work experience considered (ref:hirist.tech)
