Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Capital Markets or Investment Banking. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for strategic initiatives and regulatory projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Gather, document, and validate business requirements for trading, risk, operations, or regulatory reporting systems.

- Work with stakeholders across front, middle, and back office functions.

- Translate complex functional requirements into clear BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of solutions.

- Perform data analysis, impact assessment, and gap analysis for existing and target systems.

- Support UAT planning, execution, and sign-off with detailed test scenarios and traceability.

- Assist in project planning, timeline tracking, and issue resolution.

- Stay updated with regulatory changes (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, SFTR) and their impact on systems and processes.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets or Investment Banking products (e.g., equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX).

- Proven experience in business analysis for front office, trade life cycle, risk, or settlement systems.

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (trading desks, IT, compliance, operations).

- Good understanding of financial instruments, trade booking, and P&L.

- Proficiency in writing business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specs, and test cases.

- Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, validation, and reconciliation.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
