Job description

  • As a Control-M Administrator, you will be responsible for the effective management, administration, and optimization of the Control-M workload automation platform
  • Your role involves configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability of scheduled jobs
  • The Control-M Administrator collaborates with cross-functional teams to support business processes, enhance system performance, and contribute to the overall efficiency of IT operations

Responsibilities:

  • System Configuration: Configure and maintain the Control-M environment, defining job schedules, dependencies, and resource allocation
  • Job Monitoring: Monitor the execution of scheduled jobs, ensuring successful completion and prompt resolution of any issues or failures
  • Performance Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize the performance and efficiency of Control-M workflows, making recommendations for improvements
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to job failures, dependencies, and runtime errors, collaborating with relevant teams
  • Security Management: Manage and enforce security measures for the Control-M environment, including user access, permissions, and authentication
  • Job Scheduling and Dependencies: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand job scheduling requirements, ensuring alignment with business processes and dependencies
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts or processes to enhance the efficiency of Control-M job execution and monitoring
