Senior Quality Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities : - The role involves 70% efforts in Mobile Automation testing using Appium - Remaining 30% would be Web Automation Testing using Selenium - Automate test cases using industry standard tools as required by the project - Extensive programming experience using either JavaScript (preferable) OR TypeScript - Someone who has been involved in building Automation frameworks from scratch - Good exposure to CICD tools - Experience maintaining code in Git - Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, system, regression and user acceptance testing - Report, review and retest defects and ensure that all important defects have been resolved at the appropriate level prior to product release - Participate in defect triage discussions - Work as a lead on smaller projects, guiding junior team membersRequired Skills : - 6-10 years of Automation testing web-based and/or mobile applications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Strong knowledge and experience with industry standard defect management tools - Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities - Strong problem-solving capabilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts - Experience working with offshore and geographically spread out development and testing teams - Completed or working towards industry standard testing certification - Experience and exposure to SOX compliance and auditsExperience : 6 to 10 YearsLocation : Pune (Remote) (ref:hirist.tech)
