Job Title: Jewellery Merchandiser and Product Development

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Jewellery Merchandiser and Designer to join our creative team. This role involves both designing exquisite jewellery pieces and strategically merchandising our collections to enhance sales and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Responsibilities:

• Create innovative and market-relevant jewellery designs that align with current trends and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing.
• Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to keep our collections fresh and competitive.

Merchandising Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute merchandising strategies that maximize product visibility and sales.
• Analyse sales data and customer feedback to adjust product offerings and displays accordingly.
• Coordinate with marketing to ensure promotional materials align with product launches.
• Plan and oversee product placements in-store and online to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Jewellery Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a jewellery designer or merchandiser, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD, Adobe Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour in the jewellery sector.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of gemstones and materials used in jewellery making.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
