Job Title

Software Development Engineer (React)| MAF Digital Retail | Gurgaon


Role Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust and user-friendly web applications using React.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers.
  • Implement responsive and accessible front-end components.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance across different devices and browsers.
  • Conduct code reviews/peer reviews/desk checks, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React and Next.js.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/ES6+ and TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Proficient with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, etc.
  • Understanding of server-side rendering and its implementation.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build tools.
  • Exposure to GraphQL and related client libraries.
  • Understanding of design patterns and best practices in front-end development.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
