Profile Summary :Were looking for an innovative and hands-on Machine Learning Engineer to join our corporate data science team, part of the CTOs Office at HID Global.You'll collaborate with data scientists, ML Ops engineers, and full-stack developers to help bring AI-driven ideas into production.This role focuses on building performance, scalable ML systems including classical models, LLMs, and multi-agent architectures and turning them into real-world applications.You'll play a key role in shaping HIDs adoption of machine learning and generative AI, with responsibilities ranging from model development to prompt optimization to implementation of safety and governance mechanisms.Qualifications :- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.- Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.As our Machine Learning Engineer, you;ll support HIDs success by :- Designing and implementing machine learning pipelines and models, including LLM-based solutions- Translating prototypes and research into production-grade code and deployable components- Developing and fine-tuning foundation models and LLMs for specific use cases- Training and optimizing numeric machine-learning models- Applying prompt engineering and building agent-based architectures for complex task automation- Integrating models into backend systems and supporting real-time/batch inference services- Working with guardrails and observability tools to ensure safe and robust use of generative AI- Staying up to date with advances in AI and emerging LLM ecosystems to bring innovative capabilities to the teamRoles & Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned) :- Hands-on experience with LLM solution development and integration- Solid understanding of modern LLM tools and frameworks such as :1. LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Autogen2. Azure OpenAI Studio, Gemini Studio3. LangSmith or equivalent observability/debugging platforms- Proficiency with Python and ML libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or Hugging Face Transformers- Deep understanding of agent architecture, prompt engineering, and LLM guardrails- Experience with CI/CD practices, version control, testing, and model governance- Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)- Bonus : Experience with vector databases (e.g, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) or orchestration tools (e.g, MLflow, Airflow)Education and/or Experience :- 6+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning models in production- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldWhat we can offer you :- Competitive salary and rewards package- Competitive benefits and annual leave offering, allowing for work-life balance- A vibrant, welcoming & inclusive culture- Extensive career development opportunities and resources to maximize your potential- To be a part of a global organization pioneering the hardware, software, and services that allow people to confidently navigate the physical and digital worlds (ref:hirist.tech)
