Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java APIGEE Developer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, coupled with significant experience in APIGEE API management and RESTful API development. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing our API infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable integrations.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Implement and manage API proxies, policies, and security within the APIGEE API Management platform.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring adherence to best practices for security, scalability, and performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, architects, and product managers to define API requirements and specifications.

- Utilize AWS services for deploying, managing, and monitoring API gateways and backend services.

- Work within a DevOps environment, contributing to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and release management.

- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize existing API codebases for efficiency and reliability.

- Ensure the security and compliance of all API integrations.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Java, API management, and cloud development.

Required Skills :

- Core Java : Strong proficiency in Java programming.

- Spring Boot : Extensive experience in developing applications with Spring Boot.

- Microservices : Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures.

- APIGEE : Hands-on experience with APIGEE API Management platform (API proxy creation, policy enforcement, security configurations).

- RESTful APIs : Expertise in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.

- AWS : Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, particularly relevant services for API deployment and management.

- DevOps : Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
