Job Opportunity: Senior Design Engineer (Process)Location: Navi MumbaiCompany: Hindustan Waste Treatment Pvt. Ltd. (Subsidiary of SFC Environmental Technologies Ltd.)Hindustan Waste Treatment Pvt. Ltd. (HWT) is a 100% subsidiary of SFC Environmental Technologies Ltd., engaged in technology, process design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, project execution, and operations & maintenance of integrated municipal solid waste (MSW) treatment plants. HWT has two operating reference plants, with multiple projects under execution across India.Role Definition :The Senior Design Engineer – Process will be responsible for Basic & Detailed Process Engineering Design for Solid Waste and related Water & Wastewater Treatment Systems. The role includes developing process engineering documents, mass and energy balance, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, hydraulic calculations, vendor interaction, ensuring design compliance and supporting project execution teams.Experience5-8 years of relevant experience in design for wastewater/chemical/MSW projectsStrong Process Design/ Engineering knowledge and use of design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)Minimum QualificationsB.E. / B.Tech in Environmental/Chemical EngineeringM.E. / MTech(Environmental Engineering) is preferredKey ResponsibilitiesProcess design, equipment sizing, selection & preparation of datasheets.Develop PFDs, P&IDs, Mass/Energy Balance, Hydraulic Flow Diagrams, BOQs, Plant Layouts & Process/Mech GADs.Detailed design related to process calculations and selection of treatment equipment.Prepare RFCs, Technical Review of vendor drawings & support procurement decisions.Process Lead in HAZOP/ CHAZOP.Ensure adherence to project specifications, design standards & compliance.Liaise with Mechanical, Civil, E&I Design teams, Procurement & Execution teams.Prepare O&M manuals, support commissioning and participate in PGTR activities.Coordinate with clients, consultants and vendors for drawing & design approvalsInterested candidates can share their updated CVs at careers@sfcenv.com with the subject line 'Senior Design Engineer - Process'
