Job Summary :


The Senior Infrastructure Administrator - Tier 3 is responsible for both strategic and day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure. As a senior technical resource, you will be part of a team responsible for providing services to internal customers related to IT infrastructure, both on-premised, and cloud based, including personal computers, servers, networking, remote access technologies, mobile devices, data centers and communications tools and services.


Essential Functions :


IT Infrastructure :


- Part of a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of all on-premises and cloud services across us.


- Provide support to Data Center operations including servers, networks, and backup systems.


- Monitor and respond to Storage, Networking and Server Infrastructure Incidents.


- Assist In IT Security Industry Best Practices.


- Contribute to IT asset management databases, processes, and policies.


- Work with IT leadership to defining the standards for provisioning, setup and maintenance of individual computing requirements including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.


- Provide input on the design and execution of the IT Disaster Recovery :


- Technical Knowledge and understanding in networking, server administration and end user computers.


- Be committed to personal development of new technical skills and knowledge.


- Ensure that technical information and knowledge is recorded and maintained in accordance with IT standards.


- Contribute to a better understanding of technology across with both technical and business teams.


- Work with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure that architecture diagrams and technical standards are developed and maintained.


- Understanding of Cloud technologies such as Azure/0365, and AWS.


- Understanding of server patching, system backups, and proactive administration of environments.


Job Qualifications :


Education : Post-secondary degree in IT Management, Computer Science or equivalent mix of training and experience.


Experience : 5-10 years in IT infrastructure roles.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :


- Strong IT knowledge and understanding


- Strong communication and documentation skills


- IT service management (ITIL preferred)


- Experience in a large IT enterprise environment


- Understanding of networking, storage, and security


Software Application and Technical Knowledge :


- Microsoft AD (Active Directory), AAD (Azure Active Directory)


- 0365 Administration


- Azure


- AWS


- Backup software (such as Veeam)


- Networking (such as Meraki, SonicWALL's)


- Infrastructure deployed in on-premises and Cloud environments


- ITSM tools such as JIRA
