In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our web, mobile, and API-based applications through robust automated testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver software that meets the highest quality standards.This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, leverage modern testing frameworks, and contribute to building scalable automation solutions that enhance our development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities :- Test Automation : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications using modern frameworks and tools.- Test Execution : Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing, ensuring coverage across platforms and releases.- Defect Management : Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams (QA, Development, Product) to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and validate features.- Framework Enhancement : Enhance, optimize, and scale automation frameworks to ensure reusability, maintainability, and efficiency.- Agile Participation : Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.- Quality Standards : Ensure adherence to QA methodologies, coding standards, and best practices in automation testing.- Reporting : Generate and share detailed test reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide visibility into product quality.- Continuous Improvement : Contribute ideas for improving testing processes, tools, and automation practices.Technical Skills :- Hands-on experience (3+ years) with automation frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber or similar.- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js for scripting and test automation.- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.- Strong understanding of databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle) for test data validation.- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an added advantage.- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.Education & Experience :- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in test automation.- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is preferred.Why Join Us ?- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge products with modern QA practices.- Collaborative team culture where your inputs are valued.- Competitive compensation and growth-oriented career path.- Exposure to end-to-end SDLC and Agile delivery processes.
