Job overview:

We are seeking an Investment Banking Associate with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in capital markets, including equity fundraising, IPO preparation, bond markets, and related transactions. The ideal candidate will have worked in Equity Capital Markets (ECM) or Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and has extensive exposure to fundraising and IPO processes. This role requires someone with deep expertise in capital market transactions, not focused on family office, research-heavy, or M&A backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and support capital market initiatives, including equity and bond fundraising, IPO preparation, and listing activities.

2. Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation, and market research to support decisionmaking for capital markets strategies.

3. Develop and present investment strategies to potential investors, with a specific focus on IPO and bond markets.

4. Build and maintain strong relationships with private equity firms, HNI investors, capital market players, and financial institutions.

5. Oversee and drive transaction processes from inception to execution, including negotiations with investors and stakeholders.

6. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting standards related to capital markets and IPO processes.

Required Qualifications:

1. 4-6 years of experience in investment banking with a focus on capital markets (ECM, DCM), IPO preparation, and bond markets (must).

2. Experience with $50Mn+ fundraising (Series C and beyond) and exposure to preparing organizations for IPO listings.

3. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and investment strategy development skills.

4. Proven track record in working with capital markets, not from family offices, research heavy, or M&A backgrounds.

5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex financial transactions.

6. CA with MBA in Finance from a Tier I institution preferred.

7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
