Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our critical databases, ensuring their availability, performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture, administration, and optimization across large-scale environments.

As a DBA, you will collaborate closely with developers, system administrators, and IT teams to support our data-driven applications and ensure seamless business & Responsibilities : Management & Maintenance :

- Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Monitor database performance, perform tuning, and optimize queries for efficiency.

- Implement backup, recovery, and failover strategies to ensure high Security & Compliance :

- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies and standards.

- Manage user access, roles, and permissions in alignment with security Design & Development Support :

- Assist development teams with database schema design, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

- Support application development teams with performance optimization and & Troubleshooting :

- Proactively monitor database health, storage, and performance metrics.

- Identify and resolve database-related issues, outages, and bottlenecks & Scripting :

- Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine DBA tasks, such as maintenance jobs and & Reporting : - Maintain comprehensive documentation for database environments, configurations, and processes.

- Provide regular reports on database performance, incidents, and & Best Practices :

- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and development teams to implement best practices for database management.

- Stay updated with latest database technologies, tools, and trends to drive & Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Database Administrator (4-7 years) managing large-scale enterprise databases.

- Strong knowledge of database concepts, architecture, and SQL performance tuning.

- Hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and optionally NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with backup/recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery planning.

- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python, PowerShell) for automation.

- Knowledge of cloud database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
