Project Sales Manager – Premium Roofing & Cladding Products
Reports to: Director
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Project Sales Manager to drive specification and project sales of our premium roofing products. This role focuses on building strong relationships with architects, structural consultants, and large contractors to influence product selection and convert specifications into sales in high-value resort, township, and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Architect & Consultant Engagement
* Identify and develop relationships with architects, structural engineers, and large contractors involved in resort, township, and large commercial projects.
* Leverage your existing network to secure specifications and approvals for our roofing products.
* Conduct presentations, technical seminars, and CPD sessions to educate design professionals.
* Project Sales & Conversion
* Responsible for achieving direct project sales targets in assigned territory.
* Track projects from concept to execution to ensure our products are specified and ordered.
* Liaise with procurement teams, project managers, and decision makers to close sales.
* Market Intelligence & Project Tracking
* Continuously monitor and track new and upcoming projects (resorts, large townships, industrial parks, etc.) to identify opportunities.
* Map key stakeholders — architects, project managers, developers, and contractors — and maintain an updated database for business development.
* Events & Campaigns
* Plan and execute architect-focused events, roadshows, and technical workshops.
* Drive architect/consultant-centric marketing campaigns and coordinate with marketing for collateral and digital outreach.
* Reporting & Feedback
* Provide regular updates on project pipeline, specification status, competitor activities, and sales performance to senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
* 5–8 years’ experience in specification or project sales of premium building materials (roofing, cladding, façades, tiles, etc.).
* Strong network of architects, consultants, developers, and structural engineers in hospitality and township segments.
* Proven track record of achieving project sales targets and influencing specifications.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to plan and execute events or campaigns targeted at design professionals.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Number of architect/consultant/contractor meetings per month.
* Projects specified and converted to sales.
* New projects identified and tracked with complete stakeholder mapping.
* Event and campaign success metrics (attendance, leads generated).
