WorkNovas is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive client acquisition and expand our IT staffing business in the US market. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong network of direct clients, MSPs, and Tier-1 vendors, who can generate job orders through strategic outreach and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Business Development

  • Identify, target, and acquire direct clients, MSPs, and Tier-1 vendors for IT staffing services.
  • Develop and execute strategic lead generation campaigns through cold calling, networking, and email outreach.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and compliance officers.
  • Present, promote, and position our IT staffing solutions to potential clients.
  • Secure new job orders and contracts to expand revenue streams and business opportunities.

Expertise in US Work Visas & Tax Terms

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, EAD, TN, and other US work visas to facilitate consultant placements.
  • Possess expertise in US tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099) and confidently explain them to clients and consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with US staffing regulations and contract agreements.

Cold Calling & Lead Generation

  • Conduct high-volume cold calling to engage with potential clients and generate business opportunities.
  • Leverage CRM tools, ATS, and Sales Navigator to track leads and prospects.
  • Drive business growth by consistently pursuing new sales avenues and partnerships.

Negotiation & Deal Closing

  • Lead negotiations on contract terms, rates, and agreements with clients and vendors.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to ensure timely fulfillment of client job orders.
  • Work proactively towards achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Performance Tracking & Market Analysis

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, job orders, and deals using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular updates on business development progress, market trends, and competitor analysis.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance sales performance and client engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in US IT staffing business development with a proven record of client acquisition and job order generation.

Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of US work visas (H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, EAD, TN) and tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099).

Sales & Communication: Excellent cold calling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with ATS, CRM tools, Sales Navigator, and other business development tools.

Goal-Oriented: Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with high motivation.

Willingness to Work Night Shifts: 6:30 PM IST – 3:30 AM IST to align with US business hours.
