Position Overview

We are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our product engineering organization, drive innovation, and scale our next-generation enterprise platform. This leadership role demands a strong blend of strategic vision, organizational management, and technology oversight, ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with business goals.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large engineering teams, building enterprise-grade SaaS platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge solutions in a highly agile environment.

Key & Strategy

- Define and execute the engineering vision in alignment with organizational strategy.

- Provide leadership to multiple engineering teams, setting goals, metrics, and accountability frameworks.

- Drive innovation by fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Engineering Management

- Oversee full product lifecycle from architecture to deployment and operations.

- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and robust processes for delivery.

- Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of the platform.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Partner with Product Management, Analytics, and Technology teams to shape product roadmaps.

- Influence business stakeholders with data-driven insights and engineering feasibility assessments.

- Act as the engineering anchor for strategic initiatives and platform enhancements.

Talent Development & Team Building

- Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams.

- Foster a growth-oriented environment, focusing on skill development and leadership grooming.

- Attract and develop top engineering talent aligned with Digital Harbors innovation culture.

Innovation & Execution Excellence

- Drive adoption of emerging technologies to build future-ready platforms.

- Encourage development of reusable assets, frameworks, and accelerators.

- Balance technical depth with business outcomes to deliver value-driven products.

Qualifications & Experience

- 15+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Proven expertise in building multi-tenant, scalable SaaS platforms with high security standards.

- Strong background in Java technologies with an ability to guide platform-level decisions.

- Deep understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, performance optimization, and enterprise-grade software design.

- Demonstrated success in bringing innovative software products to market.

- Strong experience managing agile teams and scaling engineering organizations.
