We are looking for Head of New Product Development and Sourcing for Appliances Business.

Industry Preference: Small kitchen appliances only

  • Develop, execute, and monitor detailed project plans ensuring timely delivery within defined scope and budget.
  • Organize and lead regular project reviews, identify risks proactively, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Drive technical innovation and capability development within the assigned product category.
  • Manage OEMs and vendors in alignment with agreed terms and conditions, ensuring quality and timely deliverables.
  • Possess strong technical knowledge of plastic part mounds, sheet metal tooling, rubber mounds, and die-casting development.
  • Ensure compliance with performance and endurance testing standards relevant to kitchen appliances.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles; lead value engineering initiatives for product and cost optimization.
  • Support product costing activities and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Liaise effectively with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Production, and Service to align on product requirements and goals.
  • Plan and manage project budgets, including capital investment and development expenses.
  • Ensure the achievement of project KPIs – Quality, Cost, Time, and Internal Gross Margin (IGM).
  • Own the end-to-end product innovation and technical validation process.
  • Manage New Product Development (NPD), engineering change management, and budget planning.
