About the Role :

Stalwart Innovations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL + Tableau Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries and interactive Tableau dashboards to transform raw data into actionable insights.

You will work with large datasets, design efficient data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet their reporting and analytical needs.

Technical Responsibilities :

SQL Development and Optimization :

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using T-SQL or PL/SQL.

- Perform query performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval.

- Design and implement efficient data models for relational databases.

- Work with large datasets and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration.

Tableau Dashboard Development and Visualization :

- Design and build interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports.

- Develop complex calculations and parameters within Tableau.

- Create and maintain Tableau data extracts and data sources.

- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in Tableau dashboards.

- Implement best practices for data visualization and dashboard design.

Data Analysis and Reporting :

- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for reporting and analytics.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting needs and provide data-driven solutions.

- Generate and distribute reports and dashboards to stakeholders.

Data Modeling and ETL :

- Design and implement dimensional data models.

- Experience with ETL tools and processes.

- Work with various data sources to extract, transform, and load data into target systems.

Required Technical Skills :

SQL Expertise :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development (T-SQL or PL/SQL).

- Expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and principles.

- Proficiency in query performance tuning and optimization.

Tableau Expertise :

- Strong experience in developing interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.

- Proficiency in creating complex calculations and parameters in Tableau.

- Experience in creating and maintaining Tableau data extracts and data sources.

- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices.

Data Modeling :

- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.-

Data Warehousing Concepts :

- Knowledge of Data warehousing concepts.

Nice to Have Technical Skills :

- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing platforms such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.

- Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.

- Familiarity with Tableau Server Administration.

- Experience with other BI tools.

- Experience with version control systems (i.e., Git).

Qualifications :

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
