Job Title: Senior Software Developer – Frontend (Android)Location: Mumbai (On-site)Role Overview :We are looking for a Senior Software Developer – Frontend (Android) to join our core technology team in Mumbai. This role will be instrumental in building and D2C OTT platform, ensuring world-class user experiences through smooth performance, creative UI, and strong technical architectureKey Responsibilities-Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications for OTT platform.Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement engaging and interactive UI/UX.Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and scalability for large-scale user bases.Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs and content delivery systems.Manage app releases, updates, and deployment through Google Play Store.Implement automated testing and quality assurance processes.Continuously research and integrate modern Android development practices and libraries.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on speed and reliability.Must-Have Qualifications-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.4–6 years of hands-on experience in native Android app development and design.Deep understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and performance tuning.Proven ability to implement intuitive, interactive, and visually rich UI/UX.Experience working with large-scale OTT or gaming platforms.Track record of publishing and managing apps on the Google Play Store.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for Android.Desirable Skills- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.Exposure to video streaming, CDN integration, or media player frameworks.Understanding of performance analytics and crash monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase, AppDynamics).Passion for entertainment, storytelling, and innovative user experiences
