Deputy General Manager/General Manager - & Contracting & Transactional Legal- Draft, negotiate, and finalise a broad spectrum of commercial agreements- Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle.Strategic Projects, M&A & Corporate Restructuring- Provide legal support and due diligence for M&A, acquisitions, IBC processes, and restructuring initiatives.Regulatory & Compliance- Oversee compliance with Drugs & Cosmetics Act, FEMA, SEBI / RBI/ BSE regulations and disclosure obligations where relevant.Stakeholder Advisory- Advise senior leadership, including KMPs, Directors and operational heads on legal implications of strategic decisions.- Coordinate with external counsels, consultants and regulatory advisers.Preferred candidate profile- Qualification: LL.B. from a reputed university; additional legal certifications preferred- Experience: 8-12 years in corporate legal roles, preferably in pharma, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors- Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law, contract negotiation, and FEMA regulations.- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple legal assignments.- Excellent drafting, negotiation and interpersonal skills- Take ownership of the legal and compliance function in a fast-scaling organisation- Exposure to cross-border transactions and global legal engagements- Opportunity to work closely with leadership and drive legal strategy- Be a key legal advisor to a growing international pharmaceutical group.
