- Create and optimize Apache Parquet files on S3 for efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Build and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS (S3, ECS, Lambda, EC2, CloudWatch, Glue catalogs).

- Implement robust monitoring and alerting using Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement data pipelines.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security.

- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications :

- 6-8 years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on Kafka.

- Hands-on experience with Kafka (AWS MSK or Confluent) including streams, topics, schema registration, and validations.

- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services (S3, ECS, Lambda, EC2, CloudWatch, Glue catalogs).

- Experience with Apache Parquet file format and data transformation.

- Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts and best practices.

- Experience with application monitoring tools (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

- Ability to use CI/CD pipelines.

Additional Requirements :

- Mandatory background verification (BGV).

- Possession of a UAN account number.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with other messaging systems (e.g, RabbitMQ, Apache Pulsar).

- Knowledge of data lake and data warehouse architectures.

- Experience with data governance and data quality.

- Certifications in AWS or Kafka
