Job Description : Team Lead (PHP & JavaScript)Technocrats Horizons is seeking a highly skilled Team Lead (PHP & JavaScript) to join our development team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers, setting technical direction, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality web applications.This role requires strong expertise in PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter) and JavaScript frameworks (React.js/Node.js), along with leadership skills to mentor and guide the team.The candidate should have a problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.Job Role : Full-stack (Team Lead)Job Location : LudhianaExperience Required : 6+ YearsKey Responsibilities :- Lead and mentor a team of PHP and JavaScript developers, providing technical guidance and support.- Define coding standards, architecture practices, and best development methodologies.- Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables.- Design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications using PHP and JavaScript.- Work with frameworks such as Laravel/CodeIgniter (PHP) and React.js/Node.js (JavaScript).- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment with overall architecture.- Plan sprints, prioritize tasks, and manage resource allocation effectively.- Optimize application performance, database queries, and server-side operations.- Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.Behavioral Characteristics :- Leadership Qualities : Inspires and motivates team members while leading by example.- Accountability : Takes responsibility for team output and deadlines.- Problem-Solver : Handles challenges with innovative solutions.- Collaborator : Promotes teamwork and open communication across departments.- Mentor : Guides and develops team members for career growth.- Adaptable : Flexible in learning and adopting new tools and technologies.Must-Have Skills :- Strong expertise in PHP frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter).- Proficiency in JavaScript (React.js, Node.js, ES6+ concepts).- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.- Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery).- Familiarity with cloud hosting services (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar).- Expertise in Git and version control workflows.- Experience in leading teams and delivering multiple projects successfully.- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.Good-to-Have Skills :- Experience with Vue.js or Angular.- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Understanding of UI/UX best practices.- Familiarity with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Jest, Mocha).Education Required :Graduate : B.Tech / B.E / MCA in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
