Manager - Generative AI

Key Responsibilities :- Lead and deliver Generative AI projects from requirements gathering to deployment.- Work hands-on with LLMs, RAG models, LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, and open-source frameworks.- Deploy and manage AI models in cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).- Agile project management experience and strong experience in scrum methodologies and tools.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data science, engineering, product, business) to ensure solution alignment.- Support client discussions and act as a technical POC during project delivery.- Ensure model scalability, performance optimization, and compliance with data security standards.- Mentor junior team members in Generative AI tools, frameworks, and best practices.Required Skills :- 5+ years of overall experience in Data Science, ML Engineering, or Data Engineering.- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience delivering Generative AI projects.- Strong expertise in LLMs, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, and open source AI models.- Practical experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).- Solid understanding of MLOps practices for deploying and monitoring AI models.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into AI solutions.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management :- Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.Key Competencies:- Technical Expertise in Generative AI- Hands-on Cloud & Deployment Knowledge- Strong Problem Solving & Solutioning Skills- Stakeholder Engagement & Client POC Capability- Team Mentorship & Collaboration- Effective Communication (ref:hirist.tech)
