Summary

Idox is a Product based Growing Company, listed in UK. Pune is its India branch. We are looking forward for a team member who has: -

1. Experience in frontend mobile app development using React-native as well as web development using ExtJs framework.
2. Hands-on experience in developing, deploying & maintaining react-native mobile application.
3. Ability to understand older versions of EXTJS, JAVASCRIPT and be able to maintain the existing code with quick turnaround for bug fixes & feature enhancements.
4. Self-motivated, quick learner & passionate to work on both older and newer technologies.
5. Ability to understand existing code and data flows and be able to work on feature enhancements.
6. Ability to understand the problem/issue at hand and solve the same without less or no hand holding. Basically, Problem solving will be the key.
7. Ability to ask right questions.
8. Understand and communicate well with the team (verbal and email)

About the role

With the success of our specialist Development and Testing activities based in our Pune office and ambitious growth plans to triple our number of employees in India in the next 18 to 24 months, we are recruiting for additional Java engineers to join our team. There are career opportunities with Idox for junior, mid-level and experienced Java Engineers, we are looking for colleagues with leadership potential, as well as combined problem solving, having good knowledge in core & advance java and framework. You'll be joining an international community of Developers and QA professionals based in the UK, Ireland and Pune and working on an evolving portfolio of products, for eight different business streams. Each Java Engineer is mission critical, analysing customer requirements, ensuring that the software meets our expectations and liaising with the customer/UK team as necessary. You'll also be responsible for planning the tasks required for user stories development and Unit testing. Follow the coding standards and performance-oriented code. Idox is a stable, independent company growing in Pune to expand our capacity and increase the versatility of our Pune hub. Key responsibilities

• Develop & maintain mobile application using React Native by ensuring performance & responsiveness across various platforms & devices.
• Improving react-native application performance on various platforms & devices. And periodically upgrading the used libraries.
• Contribute & assist in web application development using ExtJS framework.
• Managing & deploying react native application across various stores.
• Collaborate & share ideas with UI/UX designers, other team members & business team to implement functionalities.
• Writing clean, efficient, reusable & maintainable code.
• Completing tasks, bug fixes & feature developments in a timely manner by giving complete visibility & incorporating the feedback received.
• Continuous Learning and Development - Staying updated with the latest technologies and best practices.
• Maintain documentation throughout entire software development cycle.
• Assist & help QA automation team wherever required.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with React Native.
• Strong proficiency in React Native, Android & IOS SDK.
• Should have hands-on experience in Redux, Redux-Toolkit, Redux-Saga, React-native-offline.
• Should have experience in building web application using ExtJs framework & Typescript.
• Should have good understanding of CSS/SCSS, HTML5 & Javascript.
• Should possess good analytical, problem solving & debugging capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and with team to complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Additional desirable qualities:

• Working with version control tools SVN, gitlab etc.
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts.
• Exposure to ReactJs, NextJs, Tailwind CSS
• RESTful APIs
• Knowledge about Java backend
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Knowledge on Document management domain
