With a commitment to long-term success, they empower clients and society to move confidently into the digital future.Job Description:Must-have Skills: PostgreSQL Administration Database Performance Tuning Backup & Recovery (PITR) Replication (Streaming / Logical) High Availability (HA) & Failover Linux Administration Query Optimization Monitoring Tools (pgAdmin, pgBadger, etc.)Minimum Qualifications: B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. 5–8 years of hands-on experience as a PostgreSQL Administrator. Strong experience managing production PostgreSQL environments.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP). Knowledge of database security, auditing, and compliance. Experience with scripting/automation (Shell, Python). Understanding of database architecture, indexing, and execution plans. Experience migrating databases to PostgreSQL. Familiarity with monitoring/alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, etc.Responsibilities: Manage, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases. Perform installations, upgrades, and patching. Execute backup and recovery procedures ensuring data reliability. Monitor performance and implement tuning strategies. Set up and manage replication and HA solutions. Troubleshoot database issues and perform RCA. Work with DevOps and development teams on schema design & optimization. Ensure compliance with security standards. Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Important Note (Please Read Before Applying) Do NOT apply if: You have less than 5 years or more than 8 years of experience.
