With 26+ modern, well-equipped laboratories, SOA is committed to shaping skilled professionals to meet the growing demand of India's booming aviation sector.🎓 Open Academic PositionsWe are inviting applications from qualified and passionate individuals for the following roles:Assistant ProfessorAssociate ProfessorInstructorLibrarian📘 Available DisciplinesAeronautical EngineeringAircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME – B1.1 / B2 with DGCA Module Expertise)Mechanical EngineeringElectrical EngineeringMathematicsChemistryLibrary and Information Science🧑‍🏫 Role OverviewThese are full-time, on-site positions involving active engagement in teaching, research, academic administration, and infrastructure/resource development. Faculty members are expected to contribute meaningfully to the institution’s academic excellence and the advancement of aviation education.✅ Key ResponsibilitiesFaculty:Deliver lectures, tutorials, and hands-on lab/practical training.Guide student projects and academic development.Develop and participate in funded research and academic publications.Assist in curriculum enhancement and lab development.Support institutional initiatives and events.Librarian:Manage physical and digital library resources.Assist students and faculty in research access.Maintain cataloguing, database, and acquisition systems.Plan procurement of academic resources (books, journals, e-resources).🎯 Eligibility & Desired SkillsStrong subject knowledge and teaching ability in the relevant field.PhD preferred (mandatory for core engineering disciplines).For AME Faculty:Valid B1.1 (Mechanical) or B2 (Avionics) license, or extensive DGCA module expertise.Prior experience in CAR 147 Basic/Type Training organisations is highly desirable.Instructors must hold a relevant degree/diploma with hands-on experience.A librarian must have a degree in Library Science or equivalent, with digital proficiency.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.A proven publication record and industry exposure will be a strong advantage.📩 Ready to shape the future of aviation education?Apply now and be part of a leading institution driving excellence in aeronautics and engineering education.
