Role: Databricks Support Engineer (L2 & SME Levels) Location:Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai Mode:Rotational Shifts (24×7 support) Experience: L2:2–5+ years SME:6–10 yearsAbout the Role: We’re hiring Databricks Support Engineers across L2 and SME levels to ensure the smooth monitoring, troubleshooting, and stability of Databricks workloads. This role is focused on maintaining platform reliability, resolving production issues, supporting data pipelines, and ensuring high availability across environments. At the SME level, deep expertise in Spark, Databricks architecture, and performance tuning is essential to handle complex issues and drive long-term platform stability.Key Responsibilities: Monitor Databricks clusters, jobs, workflows and pipelines Handle alerts, job failures and workspace issues Debug notebook errors across Spark, SQL and Delta Lake Rerun/retrigger jobs as per SOP and ensure health checks Prepare daily dashboards, summaries and incident reports Manage RBAC/access requests for users and workspaces Participate in Sev1/Sev2 incidents (SME) and support RCA Build governance, security and compliance practices Identify recurring issues and coordinate with Platform Engineering Provide SME-level guidance for complex Spark and cluster problems (SME)Must-Have Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (clusters, jobs, repos, MLflow, warehouse) UNIX, SQL and Shell scripting Spark UI understanding and job debugging Knowledge of Azure Cloud and CI/CD (Azure DevOps)If interested, share your CV atrudrakshi.jain@zidea.tech
