Qualification : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Work Location(s) : Bangalore (Karnataka) / Hyderabad (Telangana)

Work Mode : Hybrid (Should be ready to work from office as in when required)

Work Timing (PST hours) : 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM / 8:30 PM - 5:30 AM (IST)

Salary : Best in the Industry (Negotiable as per Industry Standards)

Job Summary : As a Discoverant Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining solutions within the Discoverant platform, which is a data analytics and reporting tool commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry for managing manufacturing and quality data.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Software Development: Develop, customize, and maintain applications within the Discoverant platform to meet the specific needs of the organization's manufacturing and quality departments.

2. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources such as manufacturing systems, laboratory information management systems (LIMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems into Discoverant for analysis and reporting purposes.

3. Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure Discoverant applications and reports according to business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and usability.

4. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users of Discoverant applications, resolving issues and ensuring smooth operation.

5. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to Discoverant applications, including technical specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, IT, and data science teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

7. Compliance: Ensure that Discoverant applications and solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards such as FDA regulations (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Requirements:

1. Proficiency in either of the programming languages used in the Discoverant platform (e.g., Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, R, .Net Framework, HTML/CSS, XML/XSLT, Shell Scripting).

2. Experience with Discoverant or similar data analytics platforms used in the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.

3. Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques.

4. Strong understanding of data management principles, including data integration, data modelling, and database systems.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6. Effective communication and collaboration skills.

7. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA) and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
