Job Opportunity: Project Engineer – FAS & Security Systems

Location: Dholera, Gujarat, India

Department: Facility Monitoring & Control Systems (FMCS) / Life Safety Systems (LSS)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead, design, and support Life Safety & Security Systems including:

  • Fire Alarm (FAS)
  • VESDA
  • Public Address (PA)
  • CCTV & Access Control

This role is perfect for engineers passionate about ensuring safety, compliance, and protection of people and assets in high-tech or industrial facilities.

What You'll Do:

Review and validate design deliverables for FAS & Security Systems

Coordinate with design consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless execution

Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities

Ensure compliance with NFPA, UL, EN, and local fire/safety codes

Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials

Monitor project progress, quality, and safety on site

Participate in system validation, functional testing, and post-installation performance verification

  • Data Centers & R&D Labs: Honeywell, Schneider, large labs (BMS/FMCS, fire, and security)
  • Gas Equipment OEMs / Contractors: Honeywell, Siemens, Notifier, Dräger, Emerson (system integration & commissioning)
  • Large Industrial Manufacturing Facilities: Automotive, electronics, heavy engineering plants

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field
  • 8+ years in Life Safety & Security Systems in industrial projects
  • Hands-on experience with Fire Alarm, VESDA, PA, CCTV, and Access Control platforms
  • Strong understanding of hazard safety protocols and codes (NFPA, UL, EN)
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Experience in system integration, commissioning, or start-up workflows is a plus
  • Exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks desirable
