Job DetailsPosition: Solution Architect SAP MMFunction: Engineering Enterprise ApplicationLocation: Chennai, IndiaRole OverviewAs a Solution Architect SAP MM, you will define and lead the architecture of SAP Materials Management (MM) solutions across enterprise-wide transformation programs. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise in SAP MM, strong integration knowledge across SAP and non-SAP systems, and leadership in strategic planning and solution delivery. You will help shape the digital supply chain landscape for our global operations, ensuring scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions.Job Requirements & Certifications : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.- SAP Certified Application Associate Procurement (preferred).- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification : - 9 - 12 years of SAP MM implementation and architecture experience, with 5+ years as a Solution Architect or equivalent leadership role.- Proven experience in global rollouts, upgrades, and transformation programs.- Strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and integration with modules such as SD, PP, WM, and external Skills : - Expertise in SAP MM (procurement, inventory management, invoice verification, vendor management).- Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data models, and Fiori interfaces.- Strong integration knowledge (IDocs, BAPIs, OData, PI/PO, CPI).- Hands-on experience in custom enhancements, interfaces, and workflows.- Strong skills in solution blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and documentation.- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) and agile Skills :- Experience with SAP BTP, API-based integrations, and event-driven architectures.- Knowledge of international trade, customs, and compliance.- Exposure to transportation analytics and freight audit solutions.- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and master data & Responsibilities & Planning :- Define the SAP MM architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise digital goals.- Lead solution design workshops with stakeholders and functional leads.- Evaluate new SAP technologies to future-proof MM capabilities.- Contribute to enterprise architecture governance and platform selection.Delivery & Execution :- Lead design, configuration, and deployment of SAP MM solutions.- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.- Provide technical leadership, issue resolution, and quality assurance.- Document solution designs and configurations for audit and & Enablement :- Establish design standards, reusable assets, and best practices.- Support platform governance, release management, and lifecycle Leadership : - Mentor SAP MM consultants and foster a culture of continuous learning.- Lead architecture forums to ensure collaboration and We Offer : - Opportunity to work in a globally recognized leader in home improvement and distribution.- Key role in shaping the newly established Global Technology Center in Chennai.- Exposure to a diverse global technology environment and cross-functional teams.- Competitive compensation and benefits package.- Clear career growth and continuous learning opportunities.
