About the Job:

Our client in Hyderabad is seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow ITOM (IT Operations Management) Developer to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing solutions within the ServiceNow ITOM suite, leveraging your extensive experience to enhance their IT operations.

You will be crucial in ensuring the effective management of their infrastructure, services, and events within the ServiceNow platform.

This is a hybrid role based in Hyderabad, offering an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organization and contribute to their IT operations excellence.

Key ITOM Development: Design, develop, customize, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow ITOM suite, including modules such as Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, and Cloud Management.

ITOM Suite Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of the ServiceNow ITOM suite to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Solid CMDB Experience: Demonstrate strong experience in managing and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Cloud Infrastructure Exposure: Possess exposure to at least one of the major cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud), enabling you to integrate cloud resources with the ServiceNow ITOM platform.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to IT operations, translating them into technical specifications and development tasks.

Solution Design and Implementation: Develop and implement robust and scalable solutions, including workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations within the ServiceNow ITOM modules.

Customization and Configuration: Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform, including forms, lists, workflows, and notifications, to align with IT operations processes.

Integration with Other Systems: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other IT systems, such as monitoring tools, cloud platforms, and incident management systems.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs within the ServiceNow ITOM modules, providing timely and effective Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications, design documents, and user guides.

Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, infrastructure teams, and other developers, to ensure successful project delivery.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices within the ITOM domain, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform.

Technical Skills Required :

- Extensive experience in managing ServiceNow Development on ITOM modules (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, Cloud Management).

- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB management and best practices.

- Exposure to at least one of the major cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud) and understanding of cloud resource management.

- Strong understanding of IT operations processes and best practices.

- Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript), workflows, business rules, and UI policies.

- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST APIs and other integration methods.

Experience :

- 6-8 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on the ITOM suite.
