Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Immigration Case Worker / Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Canadian immigration processes, strong administrative skills, and a passion for helping clients achieve their immigration goals. This role involves both administrative duties and direct client consultations for study permits, express entry, and spousal sponsorship applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the senior immigration consultant, including scheduling appointments, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing immigration files, including collecting and verifying required documents.
  • Conduct consultations with clients regarding study permits, express entry, and spousal sponsorship applications.
  • Fill out and submit various immigration forms accurately and promptly.
  • Prepare detailed study plans, SOPs, and submission letters for immigration applications.
  • Keep clients informed about the status of their applications and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date with current Canadian immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Research immigration regulations and provide updates to the team.
  • Ensure all client information is maintained confidentially and securely.
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry in our case management system.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Canadian immigration, particularly with study permits, express entry, and spousal sponsorships.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PDF tools.
  • Experience with LMIA applications is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively.
  • Familiarity with databases and data entry procedures.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures and record-keeping.
  • Ability to negotiate and problem-solve effectively.
  • Experience with Access or other database management systems is a plus.


Additional Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must.
  • Proficient in using Windows-based computer systems and software applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
