Walter Advisors is seeking a dynamic and skilled Chartered Accountant with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in audit, tax, or consulting to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing expert advice and assistance to our clients on various financial matters, including financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, taxation, regulatory compliance, and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

▪ Assist clients in developing comprehensive financial plans tailored to their unique goals and objectives.

▪ Conduct financial analysis, including cash flow projections, investment analysis, and risk assessment, to support decision-making processes.


Financial Reporting and Accounting Compliance:

▪ Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements by providing guidance on financial reporting and disclosure obligations.

▪ Review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.


Tax Planning and Advisory:

▪ Advise clients on individual and corporate tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits.

▪ Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide timely and accurate advice on tax implications and compliance requirements.


Regulatory Advisory:

▪ Provide expert guidance on regulatory matters, including Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) compliance, company law compliance, and other regulatory requirements.

▪ Assist clients in navigating regulatory challenges and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations including Companies Act.


Succession Planning Advisory:

▪ Advise clients on succession planning strategies, including trust formation, drafting of wills, and family settlement advice.

▪ Provide guidance on asset protection, wealth transfer, and estate administration to ensure smooth transitions and preservation of family wealth.


Position Requirements:

▪ Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in audit & tax, or consulting.

▪ Experience in managing clients with a turnover exceeding Rs. 200 crores in the manufacturing sector.

▪ Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint skills.

▪ Strong analytical skills combined with business and commercial acumen.

▪ Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and regulatory compliance requirements.

▪ Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.

▪ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
