Primary Technology/skills

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Total 6+ years and a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar DevOps role
  • Completed Microsoft Azure courses or certifications
  • Proficiency in coding and code analysis
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including data security solutions
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Stress tolerance and a desire to develop and adapt to new technologies


Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with using Webhooks for event-driven integration and automation
  • Proficiency in managing build and release names and descriptions in Jenkins
  • Understanding of Bitbucket as a version control system and its integration with other tools
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps Engineer roles and responsibilities, including designing DevOps strategies, implementing DevOps development processes, and managing dependencies


Details of duties to be performed

  • Develop and maintain the full lifecycle of software applications using automation tools
  • Analyse, design, and implement build strategies using Azure DevOps and Jenkins
  • Manage source control using Bitbucket and integrate it with other tools via Webhooks
  • Create and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to support code releases and deployments
  • Work with development and IT teams to oversee code releases and ensure high-quality deployments
  • Design and implement an Agile work management approach and a secure development process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and scalability
  • Implement and manage continuous feedback mechanisms to optimize development processes
  • Designed and implemented infrastructure as code (IaC) and managed Azure Kubernetes Service infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and manage application configuration and secrets
