Description : Java Developer.Location : Gurugram & Pune.Experience : 3+ Years.About SD Innovations :Founded in 2014 (formerly Studio Diseno) and headquartered in Chennai, SD Innovations is a design-and-tech powerhouse with a team of 25 experts dedicated to humanising technology - merging innovative design with enterprise-grade software to transform digital ecosystems.We offer a wide spectrum of services including custom software engineering, API and data engineering, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and digital transformation, tailoring solutions for both startups and Fortune 500 clients.About the Role :We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in backend development to join our team in Chennai.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications using Java and related frameworks.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality applications using Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.- Work with Gradle/Maven for build automation and Kafka for event-driven messaging.- Implement JPA/Hibernate for database interactions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.- Apply TDD/BDD practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.- Design and implement solutions using microservices architecture.- Develop and optimize applications leveraging Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).- Participate in Agile ceremonies Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives.- Write well-structured, reusable, and secure code following best practices.- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.Core Skills :- Java.- Spring MVC, Spring Boot.- Microservices.- Gradle or Maven.- Kafka.- JPA or Hibernate.Additional Skills :- Test Driven Development (TDD) / Behavior Driven Development (BDD).- OOPS, Data Structures, Functional Programming.- Design Patterns.- Event Driven Systems.- Microservices Architecture.- Docker.- AWS / Azure.Other Essential Skills :- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and service-oriented architecture.- Passion for writing high-quality, maintainable code.- Awareness of Secure Coding Principles.
