The ideal candidate will help in creating comprehensive test strategies, writing and executing test cases, and driving automation initiatives to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role requires a proactive approach to improving the overall quality assurance process.Key Responsibilities : - Develop, enhance, and maintain test automation scripts for web, mobile, and backend systems.- Implement and manage automated test frameworks for UI, API, and regression testing.- Collaborate with developers to ensure test coverage and help identify bugs early in the development cycle.- Conduct code reviews for test scripts and contribute to best practices in automation.- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.- Document test results, generate reports, and assist in continuous test integration.- Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into the build and deployment process.Required Skills and Qualifications : - 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.- Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG and Junit.- Strong programming skills in Java programming.- Good Understanding of Agile Methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.- Good understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.- Knowledge of bug tracking systems like JIRA or Azure DevOps.- Strong Communication Skills.Nice-to-Have : - Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave).- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.- Exposure to performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).- Knowledge of accessibility testing or security testing concepts.
