RBS Subject Matter Expert

Please do not contact the recruiter directly.DESCRIPTION: The Retail Business Services (RBS) group is an integral part of Amazon´sonline product life-cycle and supports buying operations.The team'sprimary role is to support the creation and enhancement of retailselection on the worldwide Amazon online catalog. The tasks handled bythis group can impact online user experience.The successfulSubject Matter Expert is a problem-solver, mentor and communicator withstrong expertise in process optimizations and systems thinking. You willengage directly with multiple internal teams to drive business projectsfor the RBS team. You will utilize a wide range of skills and workacross major functional areas such operations, vendor management andprogram management, to independently drive the performance improvementprojects. In this role you will be focused on the execution andoperational aspects of critical work involved for Amazon customers(vendors/vendor managers/end customer), root cause analysis of issuesand opportunities affecting the business. Please note that you will beexpected to specifically work on transactional but business criticalactivities and have a hands-on approach.Responsibilities Include: -Success will be measured by the performance of your internal teams on input metrics and individual project deliverables -Buildstrong communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations,provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth planfor the vendors -Work with various internal teams to help drive tools and process improvements that affect vendor/catalog management workflows -Drive appropriate data oriented analysis, adoption of technologysolutions and process improvement projects to achieve operational andbusiness goals -Ensure high quality standards for interviewing and hiring employees at all levels of the organization -Work with internal Amazon teams/vendors to improve operational aspectsof their business in providing a great consumer experience -Conduct deep dive analysis on the handled issues and publishrecommendations and action plans based on data to prevent future failure -Provide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps and execution -Support the launches of new programs, categories and features - Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modifiedBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 2+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data to influence business decisions - Bachelor's degree - Speak, write, and read fluently in English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Knowledge of analytics & statistical tools such as SAS, PowerBI, SQL & ETL DW concepts - Experience back office operations, escalation management and troubleshooting environments - Experience in design and execution of analytics projectsOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
