Role and Responsibilities :

The Azure Platform Lead will be leading cloud Engg. team mainly responsible for being a technical bridge between client team and offshore team.

- Candidate should be able to understand the Project Goals and as a Product Lead should be able to understand the environment from an architectural perspective.

- Candidate should champion the tools, methods and processes required for both Dev & Support.

- He/She will be responsible for understanding the requirements from Client team and solutioning the deployment of Azure Infrastructure with the help of CI/CD pipeline.

- Drive & Participate in Client meeting, sprint rituals & represent the offshore team.

- Accountable for timely delivery of Development & Operations tickets assigned to Cloud team.

- Closely work with the VWAG Project Team to plan for existing workload and future development.

- Be accountable for products/services owned by the team.

- Should be able to resolve L3/L4 level incidents & problems.

- Ability to understand the Group IT Cloud Azure Architecture and different industry standard market products used in the Environment.

- Familiar with working on Agile framework and other methodologies like Scrum, Kanban etc.

- Candidate should have excellent communication skills & can-do attitude towards work.

- Should be proactive enough to highlight any challenges or impediments to address it on priority basis during regular Standup meetings.

Technical Competency :

- Experience of working closely with Client team.

- Excellent hold on design, build & solutioning on Azure Cloud Infrastructure.

- Broad level understanding of Network, storage, IaaS & PaaS platforms of Azure Cloud.

- Internals of distributed Operating System (Unix/Linux, Windows ).

- Proficient with CI/CD, configuration & release management tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Github, SVN etc.

- In depth working experience on serverless Azure services (e.g Azure Function, Logic Apps, Event Grid etc.

- Past experience of working on Azure Management Group, Cloud Adoption Framework, Landing Zone framework etc.

- Strong RESTful API experience (both in Integration and development).

- Experience with Docker container management and IaaC tools like Terraform, ARM & Biceps.

- Experience in using Python, Shell or other scripting languages for working on Cloud infrastructure components.

- Provide an efficient interface with various teams and provide appropriate technical support to all teams working on various platforms.

- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience plus real passion to learn new technologies.
