Job Title : Product Designer
Position Overview :
As a Product Designer at our SaaS company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface design of our flagship products. Working closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and UX researchers, you will leverage your creative skills and user-centered design principles to deliver intuitive, visually compelling, and highly functional solutions.
From conceptualization to implementation, you will have the opportunity to influence the entire product lifecycle and contribute to our mission of delivering best-in-class software solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define product requirements, user stories, and design objectives.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on product designs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize design concepts and interactions.
- Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, and UI patterns to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of designs while advocating for design quality and fidelity.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and user feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and optimization.
- Communicate design concepts, rationale, and solutions effectively to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Champion a user-centered design approach, advocating for the needs and preferences of our diverse user base throughout the product development process.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience of 3-6 working as a product designer or similar role, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and ability to deliver impactful user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to evolving priorities and requirements.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and translating business objectives into compelling design solutions.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
