About Nyra AINyra AI is building the future of AI Voice Calling Agents — intelligent systems that can call, converse, understand, and take real actions autonomously.Our mission:To make voice-based automation as capable, empathetic, and reliable as a human conversation.Role OverviewWe’re looking for a Senior AI Voice Calling Agent Expert / Voice AI Engineer who can join our founding team and lead the development of our core AI voice calling product from day one.You should be someone who lives and breathes conversational AI, voice tech, and intelligent agent design — and can turn raw ideas into production-grade systems without step-by-step training.You’ll work directly with the founders to build, optimize, and scale Nyra’s HCS voice intelligence framework.Key Responsibilities- Architect and develop AI Voice Calling Agents capable of natural human-like conversations. - Integrate TTS/STT engines (e.g., ElevenLabs, Azure, OpenAI, Whisper, Speechmatics, etc.) for high-fidelity voice experiences. - Build and fine-tune LLM-driven conversational logic (GPT-based or custom) for adaptive, context-aware responses. - Create and optimize conversation flows for appointment booking, reminders, feedback, and predictive calls. - Implement API integrations with HMS, CRM, or other backend systems. - Collaborate on developing the Nyra Integration SDK for plug-and-play hospital deployment. - Continuously improve agent performance through data feedback and iterative tuning.Tech Stack We Work With (Preferred Experience)- Languages: Python, Node.js, or Go - Frameworks/Tools: LangChain, Vapi, Whisper, ElevenLabs, Twilio, Vonage, or Asterisk - LLMs: OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Mistral, or fine-tuned domain models - Voice Stack: Real-time STT/TTS, telephony APIs, WebRTC - Integrations: REST APIs, hospital management systems, CRMs, webhooks - Bonus: Experience building end-to-end voice agents or call automation systemsYou’re the Right Fit If- You’ve already built or deployed AI voice agents or real-time calling systems before. - You’re comfortable designing end-to-end voice workflows — from call initiation to data sync. - You understand LLM reasoning, prompt chaining, and agentic architectures. - You can build fast, test fast, and iterate fast — working directly with the founder on mission-critical tech. - You thrive in startup chaos, love ownership, and prefer impact over comfort.
