We’re now expanding ourR&D teamand looking for a passionateIndustrial Product Designerwho can bring creativity, functionality, and user-centric thinking to life to help us take our designs to the next level.Roles & ResponsibilitiesAs anIndustrial Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our machines look, feel, and function — from concept to production.Design & ConceptualizationCreate aesthetically appealing, ergonomic, and functional product designs fortea & coffee vending machinesand other upcoming automation products. Translateuser insights,engineering requirements, andmanufacturing constraintsinto practical design concepts. Develop3D models, renders, and mockupsfor presentation and review using CAD tools ( SolidWorks, Rhino, Creo and Keyshot ). Designmodular components, enclosures, and panelsfor manufacturability (sheet metal, plastic molding, die-casting, etc.).Collaboration & PrototypingWork closely withmechanical, electrical, and electronics engineersto ensure design feasibility and integration. Overseeprototype development—from rapid prototyping (3D printing, laser cutting) to assembly trials. Iterate designs based on testing feedback from R&D and field performance.User Experience (UX) & Interface IntegrationCollaborate with software/UI teams to ensureintuitive human–machine interfaces (HMI)for ease of use and visual appeal. Focus onoperator convenience,accessibility, andmaintenance efficiencyin every design.Research & BenchmarkingStudy market trends, competitor products, materials, and global appliance design standards. Exploresustainable design practices—material optimization, recyclability, and modularity. Document and present design rationales, sketches, and concept boards to the management and R&D team.Cross-Product Design InvolvementContribute to future kitchen automation appliances — applying the same design thinking and ergonomics principles.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Your success will be measured by: Design Quality:Functionality, manufacturability, and aesthetic coherence of designs. Prototype Turnaround Time:Speed and accuracy in moving from concept to prototype. User Experience (UX) Score:Feedback from internal testing and end users. Design-to-Manufacture Efficiency:Reduction in rework, material wastage, or assembly time due to design optimization. Innovation Contribution:Number of new design concepts or process improvements initiated. Cross-Department Collaboration:Positive feedback from R&D, production, and procurement teams.Skills & Traits RequiredTechnical & Design SkillsBachelor’s / Master’s inIndustrial Design / Product Design / Mechanical Design Engineering(or equivalent). Minimum 2 years of experience as an Industrial Product Designer in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Proficiency in industry-standard design softwares and visualization tools such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Creo and Keyshot. Knowledge of any other product design software would be a plus. Strong understanding ofmaterials, manufacturing processes, sheet metal design, plastic molding, and finishing techniques. Experience designingconsumer appliances, vending machines, or industrial productspreferred. Familiarity withergonomic principles, UX design, and safety compliance.Personal TraitsStrongcreative visualizationand a keen sense of proportion, color, and form. Practical problem-solving and hands-on approach to design iteration. Cross-disciplinary collaborationmindset (working with mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems teams). Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
