We have an exciting opportunity available in a GP owned group of medical centres with state of the art facilities in Perth, Australia where the owner is still a practising General Practitioner.

The Role

The practice is of a super clinic nature with 8 consult and 2 treatment rooms, allied health and onsite pathology & pharmacy. Purpose built to service the 50,000 population of Mundaring they are turning patients away on a daily basis. A new GP will be full booked from day one.

The practices are open Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, closed on weekends

Patient base is mixed with some elderly patients and chronic disease.

  • $160 hourly min guarantee for 6 months
  • Flexible hours
  • $20k relo for a 2 year contract working full time hours

The Location

Perth is located along the waters of the Swan River and the west of the city runs along the Indian Ocean. It is the state capital of Western Australia and home to around 2.3 million people, making it a highly multi-cultural city and a top choice for UK expats with a fantastic social scene boasting plenty of alfresco style cafes and restaurants.

Perth is great for families with beautiful beaches to the north and south of the city and the clean, clear coastline attracts many visitors who enjoy snorkelling, sailing, surfing or swimming with the wild dolphins that famously live in the nearby bay areas. 

The weather is excellent with mild winters and hot, dry summers to enjoy whether you choose to spend time in the city, on the coast or in the country.  

Just 40 minutes from Perth, Mundaring is a place where you can immerse yourself in nature.  Visit the Perth Hills and walk/cycle some amazing trails or take a scenic drive through national parks including John Forrest National Park. You can also enjoy the region’s arts, history and culture, or simply throw down the picnic blanket in a secluded spot.

The Munda Biddi Trail is the longest off-road cycle trail of its kind in the world, covering more than 1000km from the trail head in Mundaring Community Sculpture Park to Albany in the South West.

There is a terrific variety of accommodation, award winning restaurants, country taverns, boutique wineries, arts, wildlife, plus a range of exciting events including the Mundaring Sunday Markets held on the second Sunday of each month. Mundaring shire is also home to beautiful Lake Leschenaultia, the Karakamia Wildlife Sanctuary and Perth Hills Discovery Centre.
