Position Overview:
This Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing with international working experience out side of India will work closely with the CEO of Hospitality and the General Managers of all hotels, hospitality-operated apartments, and food and beverage outlets to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
This position is essential in identifying and implementing strategies to maximize revenue across all market segments, focusing on optimizing the performance of each property and outlet.
This job description outlines a dynamic role that focuses on strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and driving revenue in the hospitality industry. It emphasizes the candidate's ability to create tailored sales strategies, manage a team, and work closely with senior leadership to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate with the CEO and General Managers to determine sales and marketing strategies tailored to each property, apartment, and F&B outlet.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer insights to develop and adjust strategies aimed at revenue maximization.
- Lead the development of annual sales and marketing plans, including budget management and resource allocation.
2 Revenue Maximization:
- Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies targeting key market segments (corporate, leisure, group, MICE, etc.).
- Develop pricing strategies that align with the properties' positioning and target audience.
- Implement upselling and cross-selling tactics to increase revenue opportunities for hotels, apartments, and F&B outlets.
3 Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team across all properties and outlets.
- Establish clear objectives and performance metrics for the team to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Provide ongoing training and support to ensure the team stays informed about industry best practices and new marketing tools.
4 Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and implementation of brand strategies for all properties, ensuring a consistent and appealing brand image.
- Work with design, PR, and digital teams to ensure marketing materials align with the brand's vision and identity.
5 Collaboration & Communication:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including the CEO, General Managers, external partners, and clients.
- Facilitate effective communication between the sales and marketing teams and the operational departments to ensure alignment in achieving business objectives.
- Regularly report on performance metrics, KPIs, and ROI to the CEO and other leadership teams.
6 Digital & Social Media Strategy:
- Oversee the digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Monitor and evaluate digital performance to ensure effective engagement and lead generation.
7 Customer Relationship Management:
- Lead customer retention efforts through tailored marketing initiatives and loyalty programs.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction, responding to feedback to enhance the guest experience and brand loyalty.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in hospitality, hotels, or food and beverage.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams across multiple properties.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Multi unit and work experience outside your own home country is mandatory
Compensation: Gross base salary is PGK336,000 (USD84,000) per annum
