Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using Zoho Books.
- Preparing and analysing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conducting regular bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Generating and managing invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payment collection.
- Monitoring and recording all business expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assisting in the preparation and filing of tax returns, and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax regulations.
- Providing support during internal and external audits.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and operations.
- Managing GST, TDS, and PF compliances, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements.
- Performing monthly closure and reconciliation of Profit and Loss (PL) and Balance Sheet (BS).
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with experience in using Zoho Books.
- Proficiency in Zoho Books and other Zoho applications, as well as strong MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
