Tendering Engineer

Job Overview :The Tender Engineer is responsible for supporting the complete tendering process which 

includes preparation, submission, and management of tenders and bids, ensuring 

compliance with client requirements, and contributing to the successful acquisition of 

contracts. 

Responsibilities :

• Analyze technical specifications of RFQ, prepare comments /deviations, estimate time, risk identification etc. 
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all submissions. 
• Liaise with clients and suppliers for clarifications, additional information, and follow-up on tender progress to ensure smooth communication. 
• Assist in the evaluation of bids, ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with client specifications, and provide insights for better proposal quality. 
• Ensure all tender documents comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and client requirements, conducting quality checks for accuracy and consistency. 
• Track and manage tender timelines, deadlines, and document submissions, maintaining a structured and organized approach throughout the process. 
• Maintain a tender database to track ongoing and completed tenders. 

Skills  /  Qualifications 

• 1-3 years of experience in tendering, procurement, or business development, preferably in Automation industry. 
• Familiarity with tender processes, bid management, and proposal writing. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and delivering high-quality work within strict timelines.  
• Knowledge of specific industry regulations and compliance standards. 
• Experience with electronic tendering platforms and systems. 
• Ability to work individually and keep self-motivated during a job. 
• Results-oriented with a focus on achieving organizational goals.
