About us:
Ripik.ai is a fast growing industrial AI SAAS start-up founded by IIT D/ BITS alumni and with extensive experience in McKinsey, IBM, Google and others. It is backed by marquee VC funds like Accel, Venture Highway and 25+ illustrious angels including 14 unicorn founders.
Ripik.ai builds patented full stack softwares for automation of decision making in the factory floor. Today, they are deployed at more than 15 of the largest and most prestigious enterprises in India including the market leaders in steel, aluminum, cement, pharma, paints, consumer goods and others.
It is one of India's very few AI product start-ups to be a partner to GCP, Azure and AWS. We are also the AI partner of choice for CII, ICC and NASSCOM.
Ripik.ai has distinctive AI-ML products such as Ripik Vision (Proprietary computer vision platform) and Ripik Optimus (Proprietary factory floor scheduling platform) that are deployed today in more than 20 largest enterprises of India.
About the role:
- We are looking for an energetic Sales Professional to extend our reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business Opportunities and relationships.
- Will be responsible for implementing business development strategies, direct sales, as well as meeting specific goals surrounding sales target attainment and overall revenue generation.
- To establish a professional working relationship with clients, and develops a core understanding of the unique business needs.
- Take the lead role in developing new business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships.
- Develop and implement overarching sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company.
- Generate leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities.
- Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1-4 yrs of Proven experience in Client Acquisition and Business Development. Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
- Experience from software development services companies, software product (PaaS / SaaS) companies
- Understands client's needs, possess drive, motivation, and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales.
- Understanding the type of client and pitching clients the right way. He or she should be confident in building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones.
- Ability to effectively articulate each prospects business requirements and key success factors.
- Should have the ability to analyse data and reports to track sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Data Gathering, Market Mapping, and Research Analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand the customer's business issues and translate to our solutions.
