MYP Biology

Key responsibilities Instruction:Deliver engaging and effective biology lessons to secondary students, using a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles. Curriculum:Develop and implement curriculum aligned with IB MYP standards. Assessment:Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, and provide constructive feedback. Skills Development:Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and a passion for the natural world. Collaboration:Work with other science teachers and departments to enhance curriculum and teaching methods. Communication:Maintain clear and positive communication with students, parents, and the wider school community. Qualifications Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology or a related field. Experience:Previous experience teaching MYP and/or DP Science is often preferred. Skills:Strong communication and classroom management skills. Knowledge:A strong understanding of the IB MYP framework and its assessment practices is essential.
