The candidate should excel both as an individual contributor and as a collaborative team member, driving ETL best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslating requirements into high level design for transformationDevelopment of ETL pipelines based on the designDevelop stored procedures if required to support the ETL pipelineDevelop highly optimized queries to ingest data into relational databaseDevelop external code using 4GL programming language including Linux shell scriptsSupport migration from on-premise to cloud native ETL solutionWork within an Agile sprint team Mandatory SkillsETL Tools IBM DataStage an assetGood knowledge of relational databaseKnowledge of public cloudKnowledge of real time streaming toolsKnowledge of 4gl programing languagesRequired qualifications to be successful in this role Computer Science or Engineering Degree.5+ years’ experience as a ETL Developer using ETL tools5+ years’ experience working with relational database3+ years’ experience working with high volume data ingestion3+ years’ experience working with Cloud native databases and ETL solutionsExposure to fourth generation programing language such as pythonCapable of working as an individual contributor and as part of an agile team memberMotivated individual to drive ETL best practices
